Day out to the zoo!

So it looks like Nicole Richie may not be at New York fashion week, as previously thought!

Here is Nicole Richie with her family - Harlow, Joel, Benji and good friend Tal Cooperman.

Nicole Richie was also looking very happy with her family - and she kept her outfit casual for the Zoo outing. Nicole wore skinny black jeans and a grey cardigan accessorised with a pair of white square sunglasses and completed the look with a slicked back hair bun.

Nicole Richie attends the launch of K-DCMA Footwear

After Nicole Richie's afternoon of shopping with her daughter Harlow Madden she then headed over to the DCMA store that evening for the official launch of Joel Maddens and DCMA collective's debut shoe line K-DCMA.

K-DCMA is a collaboration between DCMA collective and K-Swiss you can see pics of the new shoes Here.

Nicole Richie wore a pair of Christian Dior Extreme cutout sandals which were made famous this summer by Sarah Jessica Parker - Carrie Bradshaw in the Sex and the City movie.

No doubt these sandals are expensive so here is a cheaper and still as hot version from ASOS and they have even been reduced so they are now also a bargain!!

Whilst on the red carpet walking into the launch party Joel Madden chatted with the media and revealed what presents Nicole Richie and Harlow Madden may be recieving on Christmas day ..

“I have no clue right now what I’m getting her (Nicole), but I think it’s going to have to be creative.

She appreciates more of the creative rather than something like a diamond. She’s not really into diamonds.”

As for baby Harlow, the Good Charlotte rocker says mommy will be taking care of that.

“Nicole is very organic, so probably a lot of organic toys like wooden blocks,” he tells.

I totally agree with Nicole on that, a creative present shows 'thought' and while diamonds are pretty they are hardly originals!

Nicole Richie and her future husband to be Joel Madden where spotted out in L.A. on the 22nd.

The couple headed over to Joel's store DCMA and Nicole was looking very happy!

Some may remember when Nicole Richie wore this same dress last year when she was over in Australia travelling with Joel's band Good Charlotte.

When do you think Nicole wore the outfit and looked the best?

Above where she matched the dress with an Alexander Wang leather jacket, Balenciaga bag and basic black flip flops.

Nicole Richie & Joel Madden out & about shopping in L.A.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden where spotted out in L.A. yesterday afternoon.
They first headed over to the DCMA store. Nicole was wearing a stunning DVF dress with gladiator style wedges.

Nicole then came out of the DCMA store in a long blue and white maxi dress matched with tan coloured Christian Louboutins.

Nicole was looking very pretty & her hair is looking great!

I love seeing Nicole out shopping it does make me a tiny bit jealous but i love to see what she is wearing,where she is shopping and what she is buying.

Nicole Richie is definetly my fashion muse.

So here is the question ..
Which of the two dresses Nicole wore yesterday do you like best!?
It is a tough choice i know but i think i would most definetly opt for the first dress although i think this choice was persuaded by the gladiator style wedges as i am loving all gladiator style shoes right now from flats to wedges.

Nicole Richie: "Motherhood is bittersweet"

Nicole Richie has revealed she is still reluctant to go out to social events and leave her newborn Harlow Winter at home.

The proud mother attended the opening of her boyfriend Joel Madden’s new Los Angeles clothing store DCMA, but admitted she is still hesitant about being away from her young daughter.

Speaking to People magazine, the one-time wildchild said:

"My mom's with her. It's fun, but it's bittersweet because I don't like to leave her. And I always wonder, 'What is she doing?'

(I've checked in) twice so far - and I've only been gone an hour! "But this is my adult night so I'm excited to see what the night brings."

However, Richie came prepared for the long night ahead: "(My breast pump) is in the car. And we have a converter because there's no car charger, so that way I can plug it right in at 10 o'clock!"

Nicole Richie arrived alone to support Joel Madden and the DCMA crew.
She wore a long satin dress matched with nude heels possibly Christian Louboutin. She was carrying a quilted Chanel clutch bag and wearing her "H" for Harlow necklace by Jennifer Meyer.

Other celebrity guests at the event included Pete Wentz, Paris Hilton, Nicky Hilton, Christina Milian, Audrina Patridge, Evan Ross, Ja Rule, John Hensley, Maya and the steel panthers!

I loveee Nicole Richie's whole outfit and especially her eye make-up.

"..Sooooo its been awhile since i’ve blogged. i’ve been a little lost in harlow land…..shes growing to fast, everyday i wake up shes bigger!! So in the world of Good Charlotte and DCMA things are really great! Benj and i have started working on writing for the next record and we are siked.
I think the main feeling we have right now is that we miss our fans. We’ve been off the road for quite sometime, and we are ready for the next tour in South Africa/Europe, and we have a big suprise coming up for our fans in the US for the summer 08. But for now all we can really give the hardcore GC fans is pics on this blog, while we build the new GC site which is coming soon!
As we hang in the studio and talk i think we really miss the good old days of hanging outside of clubs talking to kids about life and music. Thats what this whole thing is about. We have many more of those days ahead as we plan the tours ahead. Now with little harlow in our lives, and Billy getting married life seems to have changed quite a bit, but Good Charlotte, we are still the same dudes that started this band in our bedrooms in highschool back in maryland. Its amazing. my band are still my best friends.
I swear i was choked up watching Billy and Linzi walk down the isle. What a great couple. So anyways, here are few snapshots of the last couple weeks. Cant wait for everyone to see what GC is up to next."

They left baby Harlow for the afternoon so they could go visit a friend.

UPDATE

According to x17online.com the house Nicole Richie was visiting was a therapist house.

She is carrying her favourite classic balenciaga bag and also wearing wayfarer style Chanel Sunglasses.

I would really love to purchase those sunglasses but i can't find any where that sells them, i have even been to two Chanel boutiques in Venice and they weren't selling them.

So if you come across anywhere that sells them please let me know! :)
