Andy Lecompte was the man who created Nicole Richie's swinging 60's pony, that she wore to Charlotte Ronson for Sephora launch party.

For any ladies looking to recreate Nicole Richie's fancy pony tail here is a Step-by-Step Styling guide courtesy of The Beauty Counter

1. To start, Andy applied Wella Professionals Thermal Image Heat Protection Spray to each section of Nicole’s already dry hair to leave hair soft, shiny and manageable before smoothing out locks with a flat iron

2. Next, Andy pulled a mo-hawk section of the hair up and away while he pulled the rest of the hair into a super high pony with two elastics at the crown of the head for extra volume

3. Release the mo-hawk section of the hair and lightly blast with a blow dryer to find a part and smooth out any kinks

4. Lightly shake out the top section of the hair to let face-framing fringe fall, then separate the remaining hair into two sections on both sides of the head

5. One at a time, wrap the sections around the pony pin one at a time and secure with hair pins to hide the elastic and give shape to the head

Nicole Richie : Fan Tattoo's

Nicole Richie is not only known for her amazing style she is also know for her signature tattoo's, you can read more about all of Nicole's tattoo's here.

So this got me thinking, a lot of stylish ladies look to Nicole Richie for style inspiration - I wonder how many people have used her tattoo's for inspiration.

This is my rosary bead tattoo, very similar to Nicole's. I got my tattoo about 5 years ago and I still love it! I think this is the most coveted tattoo out of all of Nicole's ink.

Nicole Richie fan Mydra has the wings on her back, again similar to Nicole's.

Note Mdyra's Good Charlotte tattoo that is some dedication to the Richie-Madden family!

Lisa has a pair a beautiful pair of blue wings inspired by Nicole Richie's.

Emma has the rosary bead anklet tattoo similar to Nicole's. Hannah actually got her tattoo done at the same place as myself - Design 4 Life.

Nicole Richie was papped (19th August) leaving her regular gym class.

In other news, Kim Kardashian has recently revealed that Nicole Richie completely changed her wedding dress vision.

Kim Kardashian spoke on the Ryan Seacreast show saying "I don't want to give anything away but I will say I had this one vision of what I wanted my dress to look like and Nicole Richie called me and was like, ‘Oh my God, I have this vision for your gown just hear me out please, please, I think you should go super classic, really old Hollywood. You can't go with something trendy and you can't show off too much.'

"So she came over and she was like drawing out all these things and Simone, our stylist, was like we have this vision."

The 30-year-old stunner admits Nicole's ideas "completely changed" what she had originally planned to wed her fiance in.

She added: "It completely changed what I thought I was going with. It's timeless. I changed my mind a few times. Vera Wang has been very patient with me!"

Last year Nicole Richie celebrated Fashion's Night Out at Bergdorf Goodman in NYC, this year Nicole Richie will be celebrating FNO a little closer to home.

Nicole Richie will be at The Beverly Center in Los Angeles 8th September.

The event kicks off at 5pm and Nicole Richie will makes her appearance along with a luxury fashion show, showcasing some of Fall 11's hottest trends.

Nicole Richie was papped (11th August) leaving The Viper Room bar on Sunset in Los Angeles.

Who was your fashion mentor growing up?
Nicole: I would say the person who had the biggest influence on me was my mom. I’m lucky because she actually saved all of her clothes and passed them down to me.

Will you save your clothes for your budding fashionista daughter Harlow?
Nicole: I’m definitely going to try, most of my clothes are vintage and they’re already falling apart, so I’m going to try to hold them together as long as I can.

How would you describe your personal style?
Nicole: I like to have fun with fashion.

Are there any celebrities you think have great style?
Nicole: I’m a huge fan of Stevie Nicks.

What are your summer and fall must-haves?
Nicole: My summer must-have is a great vintage headscarf. It’s just a great accessory if the hair is not working. My fall must-haves are a very high, classic black pump, a snakeskin clutch, and a good blazer.

Biggest fashion splurge?
Nicole: I wouldn’t mind splurging on a bag every once in a while. But I also shop at thrift stores and a lot of my clothes are $5 or $10.

And finally what is the worst trend you ever took part in?
Nicole: When I was 13, I shaved my eyebrows in the shower! I thought I was shaving the middle but when I came out they were gone. My mom got so mad at me, she said What did you do?? I was like, Mom, I don’t know what happened, they just fell out! She was like, You’re going to regret this. And I did, I had no eyebrows for about a year.
