Nicole Richie attends a gala benefit at Nordstrom

Nicole Richie was in attendance at the opening gala to benefit Ascencia and Hillsides at Nordstrom at The Americana at Brand (17th September) in Glendale, California.

Nicole wore a beautiful printed dress by Jean Paul Gaultier she teamed it with a House Of Harlow 1960 clutch, leopard boots and she completed the look with a red lip.

I think Nicole is a style maven and i usually applaud all of her style choices, but for me the leopard boots are too much of a clash. That being said fashion is meant to be fun and risque so i see her personality in this style choice, which is great!

Current Obsession: House Of Harlow 'Warner' boots

Nicole Richie recently wore a pair of leather ankle boots to a recent lunch date in Los Angeles.

 We were pleasantly surprised to find out that these beauties were actually a House Of Harlow 1960 creation designed by Nicole Richie herself.

I love how Nicole wears them with shorts and a tee .. very relaxed Los Angeles style.

If like me you live in chillier climates these boots would also look great in fall, teamed with a pair of skinny jeans or tights and a smock dress.

Nicole looked flawless in a metallic slip dress by Marc Jacobs, a sleek top knot by hair stylist Seiji Yamada, a natural face with a pop of colour on the lips by make-up artist Jake Bailey and a pair of pointed pumps by Giuseppe Zanotti.

Nicole Richie was spotted leaving her pal's salon Andy Lecompte yesterday (14th November 2011) with her hair pulled up tight into a small top knot.

Nicole Richie wore a red and black Winter Kate 'Tilapia' blouse, fur sleeved jacket, a pair of HOH1960 shades and HOH1960 'Neena' ankle boots.

I would never of clashed the red and black print of her Winter Kate top with the black and white stripes on her Balenciaga bag, but do you not what Nicole Richie has convinced me .. clashing prints work!
