Nicole Richie hosts National Jean Company store opening

Nicole Richie hosted an instore event at National Jean co. on Newbury street in Boston, April 25th.

Nicole opened the Boston store wearing a Winter Kate 'Kanti' top and Winter Kate 'Kala' skirt and a tiny top knot!

A Top Knot is becoming Nicole's signature look.

Along with a special apperance Nicole also showcased her S/S12 Winter Kate collection at the Newbury street store, we spy the fabulous Esha Dress.

Nicole Richie inspired by vintage

Over the years Nicole Richie's fashion credentials have grown as she has been spotted out and about in many vintage designer pieces, from dresses to kimono's Nicole Richie is a style maven!

When first designing her Winter Kate line Nicole stated that she draws inspiration from her vintage closet, which is host to some of the best vintage around Ossie Clark, Thea Porter and Halston .. to name a few.

Nicole Richie took some of her Fashion Star students along to a vintage store to show them how vintage pieces can inspire your creativity. Check out the video below:

One of my all time favourite vintage pieces which Nicole has worn is this tassel kimono style jacket.

Nicole Richie Fashion Star episode 7

Nicole Richie graced the screen again this week wearing lot's of Fashionable outfits and accessories!

On the set Nicole wore a Erdem dress and Loboutin shoes.

In the design studio Nicole jazzed it up with House Of Harlow 1960 jewels, she wore the HOH1960 arrowhead cuff and HOH1960 totem pole necklace.

Nicole Richie opted for an edgy look in a laser cut leather Winter Kate top, House Of Harlow 1960 heels & House Of Harlow 1960 jewels.

Lionel Richie wrote Climbing for Nicole when she was only 4 years old and also taught her how to play the song.

Back in 2010 Nicole Richie told us how her Mother Brenda Richie was her style icon, Nicole confessed how she would sit in the bath tub and admire her Mother as she got ready for various events and how Brenda always wore really great Alaia or Chanel.
