2008 was most definetly Nicole Richie's year -
She proved the media wrong by showing that she and Joel Madden are in it for the long haul.
She introduced her daughter Harlow Winter Kate Madden into the world on January 11th 2008
and she even managed to find time to release her own collection of jewellery - House of Harlow 1960.
2009 is only going to get better for Nicole, Joel and Harlow!
