We have some new and exciting news about Nicole Richie's long awaited return to TV!
The television network ABC has just closed a deal for a single-camera comedy starring Nicole Richie, which will be written by Jeff Rake.
The network first took a stab at developing a comedy vehicle for Nicole Richie centered on a professional working woman and Mother character last development season when the script was written by Daisy Gardner and supervised by Warren Bell.
Jamie Tarses' Fanfare and Sony TV, which were behind the project last year, are back as producers on the comedy, which has received a script commitment. Rake and Tarses will executive produce. Nicole Richie had the initial idea for the show and she will be given a producer credit, along with her manager Michael Baum.
We are all looking forward to Nicole Richie's return to the small screen!
