Nicole Richie and Joel Madden were pictured last month at an event held by Emile Hirsch in order to raise hope for Congo.
Raising hope for congo looks to protect and empower women by raising awareness about sexual violence and abuse, ensure the health and safety of these women and create activist movements both there and abroad to prevent future problems.
Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are both involved 100% with "Raising hope for Congo."
Joel Madden went to Africa with his brother Benji Madden a couple of months ago on behalf of the charity and he hopes to hilight the plight of Congo's women.
