Nicole Richie & Joel Madden out in LA

Nicole Richie & Joel Madden where looking like a great happy family as they strolled through LA with baby Harlow.Nicole was looking casual in Jeans, Converse, a plain grey - tee and a blazer.
The one thing that striked me about the outfit was the padded shoulders.
Now i've heard the whispers that the 80's inspired fashion of shoulder pads will be making a rebirth this year.
Although i was born in the 80's i can not remember them - but i know that they are a prominent talking point in the world of fashion mistakes.
Yet Nicole Richie makes them look great. Perhaps it is because the blazer is fitted!
I don't dislike them & Nicole Richie works it great but i know of their stigma.
Will i be persuaded into wearing items of clothing with shoulder pads?
Only time will tell!
