Nicole Richie's Pierre Hardy zip detail heels

In Autumn of last year Nicole Richie was spotted wearing a fabulous pair of black velvet caged heels with a zip detail. The heels Nicole Richie wore are by Pierre Hardy.

When edgy punks stormed the catwalks for Autumn/Winter 08 there was one key feature on almost every piece, a zip. Nicole Richie and the rest of the A-list have embraced the look choosing zip details on everything from shoes to dresses. This is also going to be a key detail for A/W 09.

Although Nicole Richie's Pierre Hardy black velvet sandals are no longer available online, i have found some great alternatives.

Nicole Richie on new MTV Show Styl'd

A few months ago Nicole Richie hosted a fashion show with Pete Wentz, in which Nicole showcased her House of Harlow 1960 jewels.

This fashion show was taped as part of the new MTV show Styl'd.

Styl'd takes three major fashion stylists working in Hollywood: Jen Rade, Eric Archibald and Julie Weiss - and shows a number of young ambitious types assisting them on jobs dressing all manner of celebrities, competing to get a REAL job with the Margaret Maldonado Agency.

They’ll go to photo shoots, carry racks, pull clothes, gather accessories - and of course, have to garner the favor of the stylist they’re reporting to. It’s the first tv reality series that lets viewers behind the scenes of the way stylists and fashion really work in Los Angeles.

Although the show dosen't debut until 1st November you can take a sneak peek of the Styl'd trailer HERE!

I am so excited to watch this show, it would be my DREAM job to work for the Margaret Maldonado Agency.

SPOTTED: Nicole Richie, Joel Madden and Sofia Richie leaving the Selena Gomez show

Nicole Richie, Joel Madden and Nicole Richie's sister Sofia Richie were all spotted leaving Selena Gomez's first show yesterday (26th September) at The Roxy on Sunset, in West Hollywood. Nicole Richie was wearing a black silk chemise top with matching black silk shorts, she then threw a white waist jacket over her outfit. Nicole also wore a fabulous pair of caged heels. She then completed the outfit with a black Balenciaga city bag.
Both Nicole Richie and Joel Madden enjoyed Selena's show as they took to Twitter to tell Selena how great she was.

Joel tweeted: Hey @selenagomez Great 1st show! You did great. You should have seen my first show, kept my back to the crowd. You killed it!

Nicole tweeted: Took my little sister to see @selenagomez 1st show; or she took me...

Selena's first show must of been amazing!

Although Nicole and Sofia aren't blood relatives, i do think they look alike, just a funny coincidence!

Its great to see the Richie-Madden's out and about!
I can't believe it was only a couple of weeks ago since Nicole gave birth to Sparrow and she looks great already, GO Nicole!

T Bags dress styled with House of Harlow 1960

I just thought i'd share a little info about my current style crush.

I have been browsing through shop the trend boutique and instantly fell in love with this grecian style dress by T Bags. I then noticed this dress had been styled with a House of Harlow 1960 headpiece!

I think they make the perfect couple the grecian floaty feel of the T Bags dress works so well with the House of Harlow 1960 Brass Diamond Three-Strand Head Piece.

Although i adore this dress i think it has to be worn to the right occasion, but with it being a block colour it will never date and can be a closet staple for a special event.

Nicole Richie on The Rachel Zoe Project

In January of 2009 Nicole Richie attended the Byron & Tracey salon opening event.

Rachel Zoe was also in attendance at the event.

So quite obviously all Rachel Zoe & Nicole Richie fans were elated to see the fashionable pair back together. It was nice to see that they had rekindled their friendship. In Rachel Zoe's TV show The Rachel Zoe Project season 2, the cameras also went along to the Byron & Tracey event, therefore the Rachel Zoe - Nicole Richie meeting was recorded on camera for Rachel Zoe's television show.

I love that they are friends again and its nice to see a picture of them together, i just didn't like Rachel's response to the press wanting to take a picture at the event, 'Its like so we're friends, its like why is that a media frenzy. I mean what boring day in the media today.'

Of course the press will want to take a photo of them together, as they hadn't been pictured together in a good while.

I'm sure Rachel would of featured her Nicole encounter in her RZP episode even if the press didn't take a photo.

Nicole Richie & Harlow Madden hit the gym!

Nicole Richie was spotted yesterday (21st September) on her birthday, taking her daughter Harlow to kiddie gym.

The Richie-Madden girls where spotted at fit for kids baby gym in Los Angeles.

I've never before heard of a gym just for kids, but as i am studying childhood studies i found this really interesting. I think this is a great way for a child to develop their social being and motor skills whilst in a fun environment. Harlow must love this gym class, we should have more in England!


Nicole Richie was dressed casually for baby gym wearing all black tee and leggings matched with a striped cardigan and carrying her Cammie Hill tie dye bag.
